Phoebe Bridgers has released Live at Madison Square Garden, a live EP capturing her intimate, phone-free performance at New York’s iconic venue. The five-track collection, available exclusively on Tidal, features songs from her critically acclaimed album Lost Weekend and offers fans a chance to experience the show’s unique atmosphere—even if they missed the sold-out event in June.

The EP includes live renditions of Lost Weekend tracks like "Lost Boys," "Kill Me," and "Long Lost Weekend," a stripped-back version of the album’s title track. The Madison Square Garden show was part of Bridgers’ pre-tour run, where she performed in smaller, no-phones-allowed venues to create a more immersive experience. Fans who attended described the June 4 acoustic set as intimate, with Bridgers and collaborator Christian Lee Hutson transforming the arena into a cozy, retro-inspired space complete with lava lamps and glow-in-the-dark posters.

A Unique Live Experience

Bridgers’ no-phones policy, enforced using Yondr pouches, has become a signature of her recent shows. While it sparked debate among fans, it also fostered a deeper connection between the artist and the audience. The Madison Square Garden performance was no exception—attendees praised the atmosphere, which felt more like a private gathering than a major arena concert. The EP preserves that intimacy, allowing listeners to hear the songs as they were performed live, without the distraction of phones or recordings.

The show was also notable for its accessibility. Tickets were distributed via a $1 lottery, making it one of the most affordable major venue performances in recent memory. Tidal, which sponsored the event, has positioned the EP as part of a new initiative to help artists sell exclusive content directly to fans without platform fees. The EP is available for purchase on Tidal for $5.99, with or without a subscription.

What’s Next for Phoebe Bridgers

Bridgers is currently wrapping up the North American leg of The Lost Tour, with three sold-out Halloween shows at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome (October 30–November 1). After that, she’ll head to Europe for the final stretch of the tour, including two nights at London’s The O2 Arena on December 1 and 2. The tour concludes on December 12 in Stockholm, Sweden, at the Avicii Arena.

For fans who can’t make it to the shows, Live at Madison Square Garden offers a taste of what makes Bridgers’ performances so special. The EP is a snapshot of a moment when the singer blended her signature introspective lyrics with a live setting that felt both grand and deeply personal.
